It has been such a relaxing day... Terry and I went and picked up our photographs from the
wedding. Of course, we had to have them all. We purchased the copyright release on the
photos so that we can reproduce them ourselves. Also, they should be sending us a 16 x 20
canvas print of one of our photos in 4 - 6 weeks.
Our parents left this morning, so we are on our own right now. We ate lunch at ESPN Zone
(Terry's request). I get to choose where we have dinner (I'm thinking of a banana split.) We
wandered around New York, New York for a bit, ate a caramel apple and then headed back for
our hotel.
We just got back from laying out in the sun for a few hours by the pool. The water is so COLD!
Either you have to jump in or you aren't going to go in at all. I can't get in the water above my
waist because I start shivering and then run for my lawn chair in the sun. Terry and I get a good
laugh at all the people that aren't aware of how cold it is and watch their expressions.
We're just working on the web page so that we can go downstairs to upload it. Later tonight, we
are probably going to walk up the strip to Treasure Island so we can watch them sink the ship.
There is so much to do and see and not enough time to do it in. Terry is sleepy from the rum in
his drink. I think he likes margaritas better.

Terry and I didn't make it to Treasure Island Monday night. We went to dinner and decided to
play a few slot machines before bed.

part of the performance was the flying bird that was made up of the acrobats. It flew right above
us.
Terry's favorite part was the acrobats in the giant wheels. One of the acrobats jumped rope as
he ran around one of the wheels and the contraption they were on was spinning yet again. You
could just see him catching air and leaping to find his footing again.

which is a very upscale, gourmet burger restaurant. The menu was confusing. The burger was

I finally got my dessert at Cold Stone Creamery at Excalibur... dinner is usually too filling.

We walked down the strip again tonight to go to Treasure Island. There were several stops we
made along the way, such as Margaritaville. That was a blast. I tried to set the camera up on the
self-timer and while posing for our picture, I proceeded to spill part of my margarita all over my
lap. I dropped nachos in my lap later. Terry is still laughing about that and I'm sure that I won't
live that down.
It was incredibly crowded at the Siren's Cove. We could barely see the sinking boat. It was fun,
but it was way too crowded to really enjoy it.
We wandered back down the strip stopping at Paris / Bally's (we loved the feel of it in there) and
the Mirage. After about 5 hours of being out on the strip, we made it back to the Tropicana. It's
almost 11pm now and we have almost everything packed and ready to go for tomorrow.
It's been a great trip... we've loved every minute of it. But I think we are both ready to come home
- sleep in our own bed, laugh at Bridget, stay at home, eat home cooking, and just really relax
without feeling like we have to be somewhere or doing something because we are in this wild
and crazy city full of nightlife.
Hopefully, we will have an internet connection tomorrow.

Well, we are at the airport with a little over two hours to wait for our plane. I can't wait to be in the
comfort of home again.
Terry is wandering about the airport somewhere. I'm sitting at our terminal. The seating is very
limited. I guess they figure that people should be at the slot machines that are in the center of
the room.
I'm trying to figure out what to eat that's actually healthy. A home cooked meal with lots of
vegetables and a huge glass of milk sounds so good.
